I come before you

Asking you to restore me

Restore me by your grace

As I seek Your holy face

Restore me to Your love

As I set my heart on things above

Time and time again

Yet there was never a time when

You said, “Never come before me again.”

Your mercy is never ending

I just keep spending and spending

While you keep mending and lending

Another portion

Alleviating the distortion

And delivering me from self abortion

You never quit

My way is always lit

Through the rhymes You spit

You deliver me out of pit after pit

And don’t resent my cry one bit.

Your love is so amazing

That’s why my heart is blazing

You are my Fire

My heart’s one desire

You burn out the murk and the mire

You purify me as gold

And shape me into Your mold

That’s why my life in You never grows old.
