What Shall Come of America ? Part 2

What Shall Come of America?
Part 2

In the midst of such heated political controversy surrounding the upcoming presidential election, it is more imperative than ever that we enter The Intercessor's Intimate Chamber and seek God's face that we may SEE as He SEES and understand His HEART concerning His Body (covenant people) and our nation ("The Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof").  I posted Part 1 of this prophetic word in June when Holy Spirit first released it to me and sent me to Washington D. C. to pray and prophesy His HEART before the White House...  By the leading of Holy Spirit, I have returned to it again prayerfully...
In the process of writing the book, "God's Best Kept S. E. C. R. E. T.:  The Apostolic Process of Becoming", I have returned to a particular passage Holy Spirit first ministered to me during my first visit to Haiti in the summer of 1999.  Holy Spirit is also using this passage to shed light on America's current crisis and the role of the Body of Messiah regarding this crisis.
In I Kings chapter 18, we learn of Elijah's famous challenge to the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, which resulted in a tremendous victory and display of God's power and identity as the One and Only True and Living God.  This demonstration of God's power was revealed through a series of steps taken by the prophet Elijah as He was directed and led by the Spirit of God.  Ultimately, the false god, Baal, failed to respond to the cries of his worshipers by sending fire to the wood on the altar.  Let's take a look at what happened when Elijah took center stage in this challenge.
1 Kings 18:30 - Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come near to me.”  So all the people came near to him.  And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down (I Kings 18:30, NKJV).

The first step Elijah took was to call the people near to him.  This call was a spiritual call to the people of Israel to come near to God, whom Elijah represented through his apostolic and prophetic calling.  Likewise, God is calling the spiritual leaders within the United States of America to sound a clarion CALL for the people of God to come near to God.  Due to the current crisis within this nation, this call is imperative to the future of this nation.  Although this message could apply to every nation, Holy Spirit is specifically ministering to me concerning the United States of America.
The second step Elijah took was to repair the altar of the Lord that had been broken down due to the apostasy of the people through their abandonment of the true God and worship of the false god of Baal.  The altar represents the spiritual place of worship and sacrifice to God.  It was an outward manifestation of the inward altar of Israel's heart.  Likewise, our outward expression of worship represents the inward altar of our hearts.  Our hearts need to be circumcised and repaired in order to worship God in a way that pleases Him.  God is calling upon apostolic leaders to sound a clarion call to repentance and return back to His covenant, which is revealed in His Word.  Our nation is waiting on us, the people of God.  Likewise, God is waiting on us.  Not the other way around.  Darkness waits on Light to shine.  Light does not wait on darkness to diminish.  Rather, darkness diminishes when Light shines!  For this reason, Yeshua (Jesus) taught us that as His disciples, we are the light of the world!  In other words, America is waiting on US to shine upon her!  We are not waiting on America to fix herself by electing a great president, making righteous decisions within the Supreme Court, or making righteous laws within Congress.  No!  America is waiting on US  to shine as the lights of the world that God has made us to be as His Light shines within and through us!
Yes, we have a huge crisis of darkness within this nation.  So, what is the solution?  Is the next presidential election the solution?  No.  Although, we do need a president surrendered to, as well as crafted and chosen by God, this is not the answer.  Our hope ought not be any man, including the president of the free world.  Although we rightfully do need to pray concerning this upcoming election, it is not the answer to the crisis within our nation.  Ultimately, we need a LIGHT REVOLUTION!  Only LIGHT will overcome the great darkness within our nation.  The steps Holy Spirit led Elijah to take during one of the worst crisis of darkness within Israel reveal this to us now in our great nation.
"And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the LORD had come, saying, 'Israel shall be your name.'  Then with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD; and he made a trench around the altar large enough to hold two seahs of seed.  And he put the wood in order, cut the bull in pieces, and laid it on the wood, and said, 'Fill four waterpots with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice and on the wood.'  Then he said, 'Do it a second time,' and they did it a second time; and he said, 'Do it a third time,' and they did it a third time.  So the water ran all around the altar; and he also filled the trench with water" (I Kings 18:31-35; NKJV).
The third step Elijah took was to take and use twelve stones, representing the twelve tribes of Israel, to build an altar in the name of the Lord.  In this step alone, Holy Spirit is revealing so many truths and wisdom relevant to the role of God's people in restoring our nation, the United States of America.  First of all, there was great significance in Elijah's choosing twelve stones to build the altar.  This was a prophetic act of intercession for the twelve tribes of Israel.  Just as our nation has fifty stars on its flag to represent its fifty states, the twelve stones represented the twelve tribes of Israel.  Just as we "pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America" . . . "one nation under God", so was Elijah pledging allegiance to God who had established the nation of Israel within its twelve tribes.  As the people of God within this nation, we need to return to the heart and will of God concerning this nation just as Elijah called Israel to do through the building of the altar.  Likewise, Elijah reminded the people of God's prophetic words to their forefather, Jacob, when He changed His name to Israel.  We as the people of God need to be reminded who our God is and who we are as His covenant people and representatives.  Only then can we rise up and remind our nation who it is called to be according to God's Word and Will concerning it.  For example, we need to be reminded that we have been prophetically called, "The United States of America", and we need to LIVE, DEMONSTRATE, and BE just that!  We are currently demonstrating much more division than unity as our nation's name suggests.  Yet, once again we must not look to the nation to correct this.  Rather, the body of Messiah must BE the Light of Unity within this nation in order for the nation to be restored to the Light and Unity that is only found through obedience and surrender to the Covenant of God.
There is so much more that Holy Spirit is revealing to me through this passage and the passages that follow, which I will share in due time.  Yet, the fullness of it is greater than  this single blog can contain.  So, let me close with a truth that Holy Spirit released to me about a week ago.  I know that I am not the only individual that has been taken by surprise at the rise in popularity of Donald Trump throughout the presidential race.  My aim is not to debate politics.  Rather, I am speaking from a spiritual perspective, because I desire the will of God to be done, knowing that at times His will is in direct opposition to what we perceive in our flesh.  For this reason, Holy Spirit has instructed me to seek to SEE as God SEES in all things.  In fact, He has revealed to me that this pursuit is equivalent to the mandate and purpose of intercession.  Therefore, in the midst of my prayerful seeking to SEE the presidential race as God SEES, Holy Spirit ministered to me God's purpose for Donald Trump in this presidential race through the following acrostic poem:
T o trump all natural and political circumstances through a Kingdom
R evival and
U nified cry from
M y
P eople for My Kingdom of Light to come forth on earth as it is in Heaven.
Therefore, God is calling us not to be overcome with fear, disappointment, or even alarm at what our natural eyes see taking place in the presidential election, the nation, and even the world.  Rather, we ought to be spurred on by all forms of darkness to BE the light of the world that our Lord Yeshua (Jesus) has called us to be in and through Him.
