Let the Redeemed of the Lord Say, “So!”

Let the redeemed of the Lord say, “So!”

Cause it’s time to tell Hell, “No!”

We are not defeated foes

As long as the redeemed of the Lord say, “So!”

S – Sound check!

O – Open mike!

Let the redeemed of the Lord say, “So!”

S – Satan’s power is depleted,

O – Overcome and defeated

By the Word of our testimony

And by the blood of the Lamb,

The blood of Yeshua, who became the Ram,

Salvation provided in the bush for Abraham

And all the sons of God

Who are tended by the Good Shepherd’s rod.

So, let the redeemed of the Lord say, “So!”

So - a two – letter word

That must be heard

Small yes, powerless, no!

So – a conjunction

That enables us to function

Even after seeming defeat and overwhelming grief

Let the redeemed of the Lord still speak!

So - meaning “And for this reason”

I must speak proclaiming a new season

So - meaning “Therefore”

I must speak “in order to” open and close doors

Calling forth those things that ought to BE

And commanding those things that ought not be to cease

Calling forth the increase and release

Of righteousness and life

And the death of sin and strife 

So!  Check – check - check this out!

Satan ain’t got no clout

With his fear and doubt

As long as we remain founded

And firmly grounded

Upon the firm foundation

Of God’s Word

And rest assured

In our intimate relation

With the Author and Finisher of our faith.

Make no mistake,

As long as we refuse to allow color lines

To be blurred

Or the lust of our flesh to be stirred

Like fifty shades of grey

There be no reason for dismay.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say, “So!”

Cause it’s time to tell Hell, “No!”

So, you’ve been knocked to the ground

And ya’ don’t see help around

In fact, you’re even bound

With chains unbroken

And your joy’s been stolen

Many are the affliction of the righteous

In fact, sometimes life seems like one big crisis

And the devil be gloatin’ like ISIS

                                      I – Intimidation by the

                                      S – Sword of

                                      I – Indiscreet injustice

      S – Sent viral throughout the nations

Magnified on Facebook and Twitter

And spread around like dung litter

If we are what we eat

We ought not be startled by self – defeat.

OK.  We can’t be that slow

Watchin’ molasses flow

While the enemy of our souls

Gains ground.

So!  Let every AWOL soldier be found

And unbound!

Let the voices of Christ speak

Declaring the strength of the meek

Let the sound of Heaven resound

And let this sound be rewound

Again and again

Until the time when

Heaven’s gates are opened wide

And in God’s glory we reside

On Earth as it is in Heaven

Being cleansed from every form of leaven.
