INTERCESSION - Acrostic Poem

INTERCESSION

(An Entering Into HIM Session)

An excerpt from "What's in a Word?

The Spiritual Significance of Acrostic Poetry"

Isaiah 53:11-12 "He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.  Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."  (KJV)

Isaiah 59:15-16 "Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.  And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.

 I ntimacy with God

N on-negotiable call and mandate for every true disciple of Jesus Christ
T  riune God (We pray to the Father, in the name of Jesus, and through
the power, leading, authority and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.)
E  verlasting covenant with God and continuous memorial before the
       LORD
R  epentant anguish, weeping, and lamentation, leading to the
righteous repairing of the broken breech and restoration of
the ancient narrow Path, in which every true disciple must dwell
C  ommunion with God, through increasing levels of consecration
        unto the LORD
E ntering deep into the Spirit realm, where the fearful and
       faint-hearted dare not tread
S pirit - led and Spirit - empowered sanctification, leading to complete
      submission and surrenderance to God
S tanding in the gap and engaging in warfare, as true worshippers and
       watchmen on the wall
I  nside-out transformation, through continual abiding in the Vine and
the work of the Intercessor (Holy Spirit) within every true disciple of
      Jesus Christ
O bedience
N ear to the heart and mind of God, ushering His presence, revelation,
will, power, and glory into, within, and through the spirit of the
        intercessor
