God Is Raising Up Intercessory Peace Makers

Many speak of the call to become and serve as intercessory prayer warriors, which is good and necessary.  Yet, we are living in times of great division and war throughout the nations that require an army of intercessory peace makers to rise and stand in the gap.

For I hear the Spirit of Christ speaking these words to us.  "There is a great divide in this nation, and neither side is right.  It's not about choosing a side, but standing in the gap between the two sides and becoming an intercessory peace maker. Do not feel pressured to pick a side or have an opinion on every issue.  Just listen and be present in the conversation."

What does this mean for us individually and corporately?  It means that in the midst of turmoil, strife, debate, battles and war God speaks and His Word always releases GOOD NEWS.  It is time that we look through the lens of God's Love which is expressed most remarkably and powerfully through the Gospel, which literally means GOOD NEWS.  Every disciple of Christ is called to BEAR WITNESS to the GOOD NEWS of  Christ's Life, Death, Resurrection, Ascension and very PRESENCE not only seated on the throne of Heaven, but right HERE and NOW WITH us and IN us.  He is the Prince of Peace.  And though we know there is a future time when Christ will come and establish COMPLETE peace and restoration, we also know that He is PRESENT HERE and NOW to bring peace, as well.

So, where has God established you to stand and bear witness of His GOOD NEWS?  Wherever that may be, STAND, RECEIVE His mantle of PEACE, and SEE the Salvation of the Lord as you SERVE as His Intercessory Peace Maker.  For truly, God is raising up intercessory peace makers to stand in the gap between the numerous great divides within our communities and nation.  He is calling forth an ARMY of INTERCESSORY PEACE MAKERS that serve as BRIDGES of PEACE.  Will you answer His call?

The Prayer of Becoming

As a teenager when I began to journal extensively, Holy Spirit gave me the following prayer:  “Lord, search me, know me, show me, change me, and use me.”  Today He has revealed to me that this was the first seed of “The Prayer of Becoming” related to the message that He has ministered to me concerning the prophetic art of becoming who God has created, called and ordained us to become in Christ (Messiah).  He is now expanding this prayer to include the following two more components: “infuse me” and “glorify Yourself in and through me”.

As a result, the “Prayer of Becoming” that Holy Spirit is ministering to me is as follows:  “Lord, search me, know me, show me, change me, infuse me, use me, and glorify Yourself in and through me”.  Each part of this prayer contains much depth and significance related to the prophetic art of our becoming precisely who God has created, called, and ordained us to be in Him.  As Holy Spirit ministers to me, I will in turn share each nugget of truth as He leads me.

Right now I pray for myself and every disciple of Yeshua (Jesus) the following “Prayer of Becoming”:

“Lord, search me, know me, show me, change me, infuse me, use me, and glorify Yourself in and through me”.

It Is Well - Spoken Word

It Is Well

Yeshua was wounded for my transgressions

Bruised for my iniquities!

Yet, when I'm wounded

I want to crumble.

So, I just grumble.

The ball is in my hand

And all it takes is to stand

In order not to fumble it.

So, this prayer on my lips, yes, I mumble it.

Amazingly, He still hears,

Cause He has supernatural ears

That hear the faintest cry

Even of those about to die

Or those like me who cry,

"Adonai Yeshua, why?!!!"

Then the image of Messiah on the cross flashes before my eyes

And I suddenly know why

Why the pain?

Why this blood rain?

It's all for the healing of the deaf, broken and lame.

All for those who muster the strength to call on His name.

All for those willing to cry out in the midst of the pain.

All for those who refuse to quit

And are willing to admit,

That but for the grace of God

But for the torture and disfigurement of His bod

But for His nail pierced hands and feet

Never His righteous standard would I meet.

So, like the harlot I fall at His feet

I caress the scars

And I look at His face that was marred

For me.

Then suddenly I SEE

His eyes looking back at me.

Oh yes, for once my blinded eyes SEE

The way that He SEES me.

And I receive the grace to BE

Just who i am

In the eyes of the Great I AM.

Not just a fan

And not even just another lamb

At the sin slaughter

But I am His daughter

An image bearer

And a Life and Light sharer.

Oh if only I could live each moment of this life

With this sight ever before me.

Knowing that the very giver of my life adores me

And He sheds His Light and Life ever before me.

Oh that my eyes could SEE

All things as the Great I AM SEES.

Oh that I could just BE

Exactly who He made me,

According to the pattern of Heaven

Without sin or leaven.

Oh that I could SEE

And BE

On Earth as it is in Heaven.

Thy Kingdom come,

Thy will be done.

Yes, my heart is won

By the ONE

Who gave His ALL

And took the fall

So that He could place the ball

In my hand and tell me,

"My precious daughter

I was led to the sin slaughter.

So that you would never need to falter.

So, Having done all, stand!

For this is My command!

Remain in the palm of My hand.

The prayer on your lips,

Is a precious gift.

So, use your little strength to mumble it,

And the ball in your hand, you shall never fumble it."

So, Yes!  This is why

The only reason why

It is well with my soul,

Not due to the little I know

But due to the ONE who knows me all too well,

And continually whispers in my ear,

"It is well,

My child. it is well."
